Early Risk Detection for ICANS in CAR-T Therapy

Helping CAR-T care teams identify elevated ICANS risk earlier through data-driven clinical decision support.

THE CHALLENGE

The ICANS Monitoring Challenge

Immune Effector Cell-Associated Neurotoxicity Syndrome (ICANS) is one of the most serious complications of CAR-T therapy. Current monitoring often relies on symptoms becoming apparent, leaving limited opportunity for earlier intervention. As CAR-T adoption grows, clinicians need better tools to identify elevated risk and support proactive patient management.

Our Approach

Axvia AI is being developed as a clinical decision-support platform that combines patient characteristics, treatment factors, laboratory biomarkers, and clinical monitoring data to identify patients at elevated risk of ICANS.

The goal is to provide care teams with actionable risk insights that support earlier monitoring, informed decision-making, and improved patient safety.

Data Acquisition

Clinical, laboratory, and treatment-related information is collected from routine care.

Risk Assessment

Axvia AI is being developed to analyze patient data and identify patterns associated with elevated ICANS risk.

Clinical Insights

Risk information is presented through an intuitive clinician-facing workflow.

Proactive Monitoring

Care teams can prioritize monitoring and intervention for higher-risk patients.

Need for Early Detection

As CAR-T adoption grows, the need for earlier ICANS risk detection becomes increasingly critical.
